Illinois High School Basketball - St. Anthony thwarts Fairfield
November 30, 2024: Effingham, IL 62401 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the St. Anthony Bulldogs (Effingham, IL) and the visiting Fairfield Mules (Fairfield, IL), observed St. Anthony's basketball team knock off Fairfield by a score of 49-29.
The Bulldogs (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Okaw Valley (Bethany, IL). The Timberwolves come into the non-league challenge with a 0-6 record. In their last challenge, Okaw Valley dropped by Georgetown-Ridge Farm (Georgetown, IL), 48-19, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Mules encounter the Edwards County Lions (Albion, IL) in a Black Diamond - East challenge, on Thursday, December 5. Fairfield will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record.
