Indiana High School Basketball - Northeastern knocks off Monroe Central

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Northeastern Knights basketball team scored a good 50-35 win over the Monroe Central Golden Bears.

The Knights (8-0) will now prepare for their contest against Jay County (Portland, IN). The Patriots come into the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Jay County was topped by Woodlan (Woodburn, IN), 52-46, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Golden Bears battle the Union City Indians (Union City, IN) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, December 4. Monroe Central will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Indians come into the contest with a 2-4 record after their 43-41 non-league win over South Adams (Berne, IN).
