Desert Vista Thunder (Phoenix, AZ) followers went home pleased Tuesday as they saw their flag football team gain a win over the host Corona del Sol Aztecs (Tempe, AZ), 26-6 in a league battle.

With the win, Desert Vista advances its record to 7-5 on the season. The Thunder host Marana (Tucson, AZ) to play the Tigers in a 6A Central battle on Wednesday, November 6. The Tigers go into the battle with a record of 11-1. Marana won 24-0 in their recent league battle against Xavier College Prep (Phoenix, AZ)
