South Carolina High School Basketball - Sumter tops Crestwood
December 2, 2022: Sumter, SC 29154 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Sumter Fighting Gamecocks (Sumter, SC) and the visiting Crestwood Knights (Sumter, SC), saw Sumter's basketball team achieve victory over Crestwood by a tally of 62-49.
The Fighting Gamecocks now possess a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Camden for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 3. Sumter will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 62-58 non-league win over Eau Claire (Columbia, SC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-1.
The Knights (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Stall (Charleston, SC). The Warriors come into the non-league battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, Stall dropped by Goose Creek (Goose Creek, SC), 98-50, in a non-league battle.
