Texas High School Basketball - Taft tops Del Valle
December 2, 2023: San Antonio, TX 78253 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Taft Raiders (San Antonio, TX) and the visiting Del Valle Conquistadores (El Paso, TX), saw Taft's basketball squad knock off Del Valle by a count of 62-48.
With the victory, Taft upgrades its record to 6-8 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Cedar Park (Cedar Park, TX) to play the Timberwolves in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 8. The Timberwolves come into the challenge with a record of 6-4. Cedar Park won 52-41 in their recent non-league challenge against McCallum (Austin, TX)
Next up, the Conquistadores play the Irvin Rockets (El Paso, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 5. Del Valle will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Rockets come into the challenge with a 1-9 record after their 61-29 non-league loss to Bandera (Bandera, TX).
