Texas High School Basketball - Liberty tops Lovelady
December 2, 2023: Lovelady, TX 75851 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Liberty Panthers (Liberty, TX) and the host Lovelady Lions (Lovelady, TX), saw Liberty's basketball squad knock off Lovelady by a tally of 32-24.
With the victory, Liberty improves its record to 14-3 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Hargrave (Huffman, TX) to play the Falcons in a 4A Region III District 20 challenge on Tuesday, December 5. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 5-8. Hargrave lost 48-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Evadale (Evadale, TX)
Next up, the Lions play the Normangee Panthers (Normangee, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 5. Lovelady will attempt to improve on its 6-4 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 9-4 record after their 59-44 non-league win over Jarrell (Jarrell, TX).
