Texas High School Basketball - Pflugerville topped by Nimitz
December 2, 2023: Pflugerville, TX 78660 The Nimitz Cougars basketball team scored 33 points and restricted the host Pflugerville Panthers to 25 in the Cougars non-league victory on Saturday.
The Cougars now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pasadena Memorial for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5. Nimitz will battle a Mavericks team coming off a 39-35 non-league win over Randle (Richmond, TX). The Mavericks record now stands at 8-8.
The Panthers (1-13) will now prepare for their contest against Elgin (Elgin, TX). The Wildcats come into the 5A Region III District 23 contest with a 5-9 record. In their last contest, Elgin was defeated by Churchill (San Antonio, TX), 66-18, in a non-league contest.
