Texas High School Basketball - Quitman topped by Pearce
December 3, 2022: Quitman, TX 75783 The Pearce Mustangs basketball team scored 40 points and restricted the host Quitman Bulldogs to 20 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Saturday.
The Mustangs now sport a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Forney for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 6. Pearce will battle a Jackrabbits team coming off a 54-42 non-league win over Madison (Dallas, TX). The Jackrabbits record now stands at 7-7.
The Bulldogs (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against New Diana (Diana, TX). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 8-7 record. In their last contest, New Diana was defeated by Fruitvale (Fruitvale, TX), 45-36, in a non-league contest.
