New York High School Basketball - Cathedral Prep crushes Luther

Cathedral Prep Crusaders (Elmhurst, NY) backers were in high spirits Sunday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Luther Cougars (Maspeth, NY), 63-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cathedral Prep upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Crusaders travel to Northeast (Philadelphia, PA) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 9. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 2-1.

Next up, the Cougars play the Kew Forest Jaguars (Forest Hills, NY) in a PSAL Area NYSAIS PSAA - Eastern bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Luther will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Jaguars go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 102-21 league loss to Stony Brook (Stony Brook, NY).
