In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host Ballantyne Ridge Wolves basketball team scored a good 34-19 triumph over the Buford Yellow Jackets.

The Wolves (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Providence (Charlotte, NC). The Panthers go into the non-league contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Providence was toppled by Fort Mill (Fort Mill, SC), 63-39, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Yellow Jackets confront the Chester Cyclones (Chester, SC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 6. Buford will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Cyclones go into the contest with a 2-0 record after their 66-29 non-league win over Ware Shoals (Ware Shoals, SC).
