December 5, 2023: Alba, TX 75410 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the LaPoynor Flyers (LaRue, TX) and the host Alba-Golden Panthers (Alba, TX), saw LaPoynor's basketball squad wallop Alba-Golden by a tally of 75-26.
With the victory, LaPoynor improves its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Flyers host Chapel Hill (Mount Pleasant, TX) to confront the Red Devils in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 8. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a record of 10-5. Chapel Hill won 53-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Christian Homeschool Sports Ministries (Spring, TX)
Next up, the Panthers confront the Boles Hornets (Quinlan, TX) in a 2A Region II District 15 challenge, on Friday, December 15. Alba-Golden will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record.
