The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Pelion Panthers (Pelion, SC) and the visiting Ridge Spring-Monetta Trojans (Monetta, SC), observed Pelion's basketball team edge Ridge Spring-Monetta by a score of 52-49.

The Panthers (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Newberry Academy (Newberry, SC). The come into the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Newberry Academy edged Greenwood Christian (Greenwood, SC), 34-28, in a non-league challenge.
