Illinois High School Basketball - Lincoln-Way Central knocked off by Neuqua Valley
December 6, 2022: New Lenox, IL 60451 The Neuqua Valley Wildcats basketball team scored 67 points and held the host Lincoln-Way Central Knights to 59 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Wildcats now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Naperville Central for a DuPage Valley contest on Friday, December 9. Neuqua Valley will battle a Redhawks team coming off a 70-68 non-league win over Willowbrook (Villa Park, IL). The Redhawks record now stands at 4-4.
The Knights (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Bolingbrook (Bolingbrook, IL). The Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Bolingbrook ran past Waubonsie Valley (Aurora, IL), 72-69, in a non-league contest.
