Minnesota High School Basketball - Shakopee can't hold off Academy of Holy Angels
December 6, 2022: Richfield, MN 55423 The Academy of Holy Angels Stars basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the visiting Shakopee Sabers to 62 in the Stars non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Stars now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Burnsville for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 7. Academy of Holy Angels will battle a Blaze team coming off a 65-63 non-league loss to Hastings (Hastings, MN). The Blaze record now stands at 1-1.
The Sabers (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Maple Grove (Maple Grove, MN). The Crimson come into the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Maple Grove edged Rogers (Rogers, MN), 50-34, in a non-league contest.
