California High School Basketball - Los Amigos nips Downey

In Friday's non-league contest, the host Los Amigos Lobos basketball team scored a close 55-54 win over the Downey Vikings.

The Lobos (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Quartz Hill (Quartz Hill, CA). The Royals come into the non-league contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Quartz Hill was tipped by South (Torrance, CA), 58-54, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Vikings battle the Temple City Rams (Temple City, CA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 7. Downey will attempt to better on its 4-5 season record. The Rams come into the contest with a 2-3 record after their 64-20 non-league loss to Marina (Huntington Beach, CA).
