Texas High School Basketball - Denton victorious over Springtown
December 6, 2024: Denton, TX 76201 In Friday's non-league contest, the host Denton Broncos basketball team scored a good 37-23 triumph over the Springtown Porcupines.
The Broncos (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against Birdville (North Richland Hills, TX). The Hawks go into the 5A Region I District 6 contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Birdville topped Haltom (Haltom City, TX), 47-44, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Porcupines battle the Krum Bobcats (Krum, TX) in a 4A Region I District 7 contest, on Tuesday, December 10. Springtown will attempt to better on its 3-8 season record. The Bobcats go into the contest with a 4-10 record after their 36-34 non-league loss to Concordia Lutheran (Tomball, TX).
