Texas High School Basketball - Ponder victorious over John Paul II
December 6, 2024: Plano, TX 75075 In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Ponder Lions basketball team scored a good 60-51 triumph over the John Paul II Cardinals.
The Lions (11-1) will now prepare for their contest against Fossil Ridge (Keller, TX). The Panthers go into the non-league contest with a 9-3 record. In their last contest, Fossil Ridge was topped by Waxahachie (Waxahachie, TX), 49-47, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Cardinals battle the Van Alstyne Panthers (Van Alstyne, TX) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 7. John Paul II will attempt to better on its 6-9 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 4-8 record after their 56-50 non-league win over Centennial (Frisco, TX).
