Georgia High School Basketball - Long County nudges Johnson
December 6, 2024: Ludowici, GA 31316 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Long County Blue Tide (Ludowici, GA) and the visiting Johnson Atomsmashers (Savannah, GA), observed Long County's basketball team edge Johnson by a score of 49-43.
The Blue Tide (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Tattnall County (Reidsville, GA). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Tattnall County edged Long County (Ludowici, GA), 58-36, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Atomsmashers encounter the Groves Rebels (Garden City, GA) in a AAA Region 3 challenge, on Tuesday, December 10. Johnson will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 59-37 league loss to Calvary Day (Savannah, GA).
