Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Lexington Yellowjackets (Lexington, NC) and the visiting Carver Yellowjackets (Winston-Salem, NC), saw Lexington's basketball squad wallop Carver by a tally of 72-45.

With the victory, Lexington improves its record to 2-5 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to East Davidson (Thomasville, NC) to play the Golden Eagles in a 1A/2A Conference 33 challenge on Friday, December 9. The Golden Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 0-6. East Davidson lost 71-41 in their recent non-league challenge against Ledford (Thomasville, NC)
