December 7, 2023: Venus, TX 76084 In Thursday's non-league outing, the Venus Bulldogs (Venus, TX) basketball squad edged the visiting Windthorst Trojans (Windthorst, TX), by a margin of 62-56.
The Bulldogs (9-4) will now prepare for their outing against Poolville (Poolville, TX). The Monarchs go into the non-league outing with a 6-1 record. In their last outing, Poolville held off High Island (High Island, TX), 57-24, in a non-league outing.
The Trojans now own a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Victory Christian Academy for a non-league outing on Thursday, December 7. Windthorst will clash with a Patriots squad coming off a 46-27 non-league win over Forestburg (Forestburg, TX). The Patriots record now stands at 6-1.
