December 7, 2024: Athens, TX 75751 In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Highland Park Scots basketball team scored a big 75-48 triumph over the Athens Hornets.
The Scots (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Temple (Temple, TX). The Wildcats go into the non-league contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Temple smashed Jacksonville (Jacksonville, TX), 67-65, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Hornets confront the Sulphur Springs Wildcats (Sulphur Springs, TX) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 10. Athens will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 4-5 record after their 69-38 non-league win over Wills Point (Wills Point, TX).
