The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Garrard County Golden Lions (Lancaster, KY) and the visiting Bluegrass United Bluehawks (Lexington, KY), observed Garrard County's basketball team edge Bluegrass United by a score of 59-53.

The Golden Lions (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Somerset Christian (Somerset, KY). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Somerset Christian edged Casey County (Liberty, KY), 68-36, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Bluehawks encounter the Powell County Pirates (Stanton, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 9.
