The Lampasas Badgers basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the visiting Rio Vista Eagles to 46 in the Badgers non-league victory on Thursday.

The Badgers now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Little River Academy for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 8. Lampasas will battle a Bumblebees team coming off a 57-43 non-league loss to China Spring (China Spring, TX). The Bumblebees record now stands at 6-3.

The Eagles (1-10) will now prepare for their contest against Stephenville (Stephenville, TX). The Yellow Jackets/Honeybees come into the non-league contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Stephenville edged Lake Worth (Lake Worth, TX), 47-43, in a non-league contest.
