California High School Basketball - St. Anthony edges Oakwood
December 8, 2022: North Hollywood, CA 91601 The St. Anthony Saints (Long Beach, CA) basketball nipped the host Oakwood Owls (North Hollywood, CA), 49-48 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Saints (5-5) will now prepare for their test against Brentwood School (Los Angeles, CA). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 9-1 record. In their last test, Brentwood School got by Morningside (Inglewood, CA), 83-38, in a non-league test.
The Owls now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to George Washington Prep for a non-league test on Saturday, December 10. Oakwood will encounter a Generals squad coming off a 71-43 league win over View Park (Los Angeles, CA). The Generals record now stands at 1-3.
