The Grovetown Warriors basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the visiting Virginia Academy Patriots to 49 in the Warriors non-league victory on Friday.

The Warriors now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dacula for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 9. Grovetown will battle a Falcons team coming off a 71-61 non-league win over Archer (Lawrenceville, GA). The Falcons record now stands at 8-1.

The Patriots (1-10) will now prepare for their contest against St. Stephen's & St. Agnes (Alexandria, VA). The Saints come into the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, St. Stephen's & St. Agnes edged Australian National Team (Australia) (, NC), 56-43, in a non-league contest.
