Texas High School Basketball - Big Sandy nudges Los Fresnos
December 8, 2023: Los Fresnos, TX 78566 Big Sandy Wildcats (Dallardsville, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Los Fresnos Falcons (Los Fresnos, TX), 41-37 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Big Sandy upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Goodrich (Goodrich, TX) to clash with the Hornets in a non-league bout on Monday, December 18. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 6-10. Goodrich lost 46-27 in their recent league bout against Brookeland (Brookeland, TX)
Next up, the Falcons clash with the Dayton Broncos (Dayton, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Los Fresnos will attempt to upgrade on its 9-11 season record. The Broncos go into the bout with a 3-7 record after their 45-20 non-league loss to Brenham (Brenham, TX).
