Texas High School Basketball - Huntington crushes West Sabine
December 8, 2023: Huntington, TX 75949 Huntington Red Devils (Huntington, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting West Sabine Tigers (Pineland, TX), 55-26 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Huntington upgrades its record to 14-3 on the campaign. The Red Devils host Pineywoods Community Academy (Lufkin, TX) to play the Timberwolves in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 9. The Timberwolves come into the bout with a record of 10-2. Pineywoods Community Academy won 68-63 in their recent league bout against Central Heights (Nacogdoches, TX)
Next up, the Tigers play the Corrigan-Camden Bulldogs (Corrigan, TX) in a 2A Region III District 24 bout, on Tuesday, December 12. West Sabine will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 2-7 record after their 28-27 non-league loss to Colmesneil (Colmesneil, TX).
