Mississippi High School Basketball - Philadelphia can't hold off McAdams
December 8, 2023: McAdams, MS 39107 The McAdams Bulldogs basketball team scored 46 points and restricted the visiting Philadelphia Tornadoes to 41 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Friday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Leake County for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12. McAdams will battle a Gators team coming off a 39-36 non-league loss to Scott Central (Forest, MS). The Gators record now stands at 3-7.
The Tornadoes (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Newton (Newton, MS). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 9-1 record. In their last contest, Newton edged Forest (Forest, MS), 42-16, in a non-league contest.
