Illinois High School Basketball - MacArthur overwhelms Jacksonville
December 9, 2022: Decatur, IL 62522 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the MacArthur Generals (Decatur, IL) and the visiting Jacksonville Crimsons (Jacksonville, IL), saw MacArthur's basketball squad wallop Jacksonville by a tally of 82-37.
With the victory, MacArthur improves its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Generals host Decatur Eisenhower (Decatur, IL) to confront the Panthers in a Central State Eight challenge on Tuesday, December 13. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 0-7. Decatur Eisenhower lost 54-35 in their recent league challenge against Rochester (Rochester, IL)
Next up, the Crimsons confront the Lincoln Railsplitters (Lincoln, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 10. Jacksonville will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Railsplitters come into the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 46-15 league win over Charleston (Charleston, IL).
