The Palmetto Scholars Academy Phoenix (North Charleston, SC) basketball crushed the host Bridges Prep Buccaneers (Beaufort, SC), 45-21 in Friday's non-league test.

The Phoenix (1-4) will now prepare for their test against Military Magnet Academy (North Charleston, SC). The Eagles go into the A Region 8 test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Military Magnet Academy walloped Goose Creek (Goose Creek, SC), 56-35, in a non-league test.
