Louisiana High School Basketball - Walker overwhelms French Settlement

December 9, 2022: French Settlement, LA 70733

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Walker Wildcats (Walker, LA) and the host French Settlement Lions (French Settlement, LA), saw Walker's basketball squad wallop French Settlement by a count of 73-17.

With the victory, Walker upgrades its record to 10-0 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Albany (Albany, LA) to play the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 10. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 10-0. Albany won 61-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Springfield (Springfield, LA)

Next up, the Lions play the Covington Lions (Covington, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 13. French Settlement will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 53-48 non-league win over Pine (Franklinton, LA).
