Texas High School Basketball - North Forney knocked off by Liberty
December 9, 2022: Frisco, TX 75035 The Liberty Redhawks basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting North Forney Falcons to 32 in the Redhawks non-league triumph on Friday.
The Redhawks now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Memorial for a 5A Region II District 10 contest on Friday, December 16. Liberty will meet a Warriors team coming off a 54-33 non-league loss to Southlake Carroll (Southlake, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 11-7.
The Falcons (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Horn (Mesquite, TX). The Jaguars enter the 6A Region II District 10 contest with a 8-9 record. In their last contest, Horn was outscored by North Crowley (Fort Worth, TX), 40-28, in a non-league contest.
