Maryland High School Basketball - Connelly School of the Holy Child nips Fleming
December 9, 2023: Potomac, MD 20854 Connelly School of the Holy Child (Potomac, MD) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Fleming Colonels (Roanoke, VA), 54-49 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Connelly School of the Holy Child upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The host Mercersburg Academy (Mercersburg, PA) to play the Blue Storm in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Blue Storm go into the bout with a record of 5-0. Mercersburg Academy won 61-51 in their recent non-league bout against Pennington (Pennington, NJ)
Next up, the Colonels play the Cave Spring Knights (Roanoke, VA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 16. Fleming will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record.
