Texas High School Basketball - Avinger tipped by Avery
December 10, 2022: Avery, TX 75554 The Avery Bulldogs basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting Avinger Indians to 43 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Waskom for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 10. Avery will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 62-19 non-league win over Linden-Kildare (Linden, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-2.
The Indians (4-14) will now prepare for their contest against Rivercrest (Bogata, TX). The Rebels enter the non-league contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, Rivercrest was nudged by Avery (Avery, TX), 49-45, in a non-league contest.
