In Saturday's non-league outing, the Canyon Springs Pioneers (North Las Vegas, NV) basketball squad beat the visiting McQueen Lancers (Reno, NV), by a margin of 67-50.

The Pioneers (3-4) will now prepare for their outing against Somerset Academy Losee (North Las Vegas, NV). The Lions go into the non-league outing with a 4-0 record. In their last outing, Somerset Academy Losee defeated Doral Academy Red Rock (Las Vegas, NV), 65-30, in a non-league outing.

The Lancers now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Galena for a 5A Northern outing on Saturday, December 17. McQueen will clash with a Grizzlies squad coming off a 67-57 league loss to Carson (Carson City, NV). The Grizzlies record now stands at 3-3.
