In Saturday's non-league match, the host Iowa Colony Pioneers basketball team scored a good 61-45 triumph over the Wharton Tigers.

In their next game, the Pioneers meet the Royal Falcons (Brookshire, TX) in a non-league match, on Saturday, December 10. Iowa Colony will attempt to better on its 12-1 season record. The Falcons enter the match with a 4-6 record after their 63-51 non-league loss to Spring Woods (Houston, TX).
