In Saturday's non-league match, the host South Vermillion Wildcats basketball team scored a decisive 68-38 triumph over the Marshall Lions.

In their next game, the Wildcats face the Terre Haute South Vigo Braves (Terre Haute, IN) in a non-league match, on Friday, December 16. South Vermillion will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record. The Braves enter the match with a 3-1 record after their 77-54 non-league loss to Avon (Avon, IN).
