The Bishop Ireton Cardinals basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the host Poly Engineers to 58 in the Cardinals non-league victory on Saturday.

The Cardinals now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northside Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Sunday, December 11. Bishop Ireton will battle a Knights team coming off a 59-48 non-league loss to Western Reserve Academy (Hudson, OH). The Knights record now stands at 5-6.

The Engineers (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Mercy (Baltimore, MD). The Magic come into the non-league contest with a 5-0 record.
