New Mexico High School Basketball - Tohatchi fells Escalante
December 10, 2022: Tierra Amarilla, NM 87575 Tohatchi Cougars (Tohatchi, NM) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Escalante Lobos (Tierra Amarilla, NM), 44-32 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Tohatchi upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Cougars host Hozho Academy (Gallup, NM) to play the Wolves in a non-league bout on Monday, December 19. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Lobos play the Navajo Prep Eagles (Farmington, NM) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 16. Escalante will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
