Florida High School Basketball - Freedom holds off East Ridge

December 10, 2024: Clermont, FL 34711

The Freedom Patriots basketball team scored 67 points and limited the host East Ridge Knights to 63 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Patriots now possess a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Mount Dora for a non-league game on Wednesday, December 11. Freedom will confront a Hurricanes team coming off a 77-57 non-league win over East Ridge (Clermont, FL). The Hurricanes record now stands at 3-5.

With the loss, East Ridge falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Knights host South Lake (Groveland, FL) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Friday, December 13. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 6-2. South Lake won 64-60 in their recent non-league game against Wildwood (Wildwood, FL)
