The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Follett Panthers (Follett, TX) and the host Shamrock Irish (Shamrock, TX), observed Follett's basketball team knock off Shamrock by a score of 51-42.

The Panthers (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Fort Elliott (Briscoe, TX). The Cougars come into the 1A Region I District 1 challenge with a 4-5 record.

In their next game, the Irish encounter the River Road Wildcats (Amarillo, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 12. Shamrock will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 54-29 non-league loss to Nazareth (Nazareth, TX).
