In Tuesday's non-league test, the Horizon Hawks (Thornton, CO) basketball squad defeated the host Douglas County Huskies (Castle Rock, CO), by a score of 42-34.

Next, the Hawks clash with the Niwot Cougars (Niwot, CO) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, January 7. Horizon will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record.

The Huskies (1-3) will now prepare for their test against Skyview (Thornton, CO). The Wolverines come into the non-league test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Skyview went down by Rangeview (Aurora, CO), 56-50, in a non-league test.
