North Carolina High School Basketball - North Gaston nudges Highland Tech

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the North Gaston Wildcats (Dallas, NC) and the visiting Highland Tech Rams (Gastonia, NC), observed North Gaston's basketball team edge Highland Tech by a score of 40-34.

The Wildcats (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Crest (Shelby, NC). The Chargers come into the 3A Big South challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Crest was tipped by A.C. Reynolds (Asheville, NC), 66-31, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Rams encounter the Langtree Charter Academy Lions (Mooresville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 11. Highland Tech will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 54-8 non-league loss to Jackson Day (Charlotte, NC).
