In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Loudoun County Captains basketball team scored a big 57-23 triumph over the Independence .

The Captains (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Briar Woods (Ashburn, VA). The Falcons go into the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Briar Woods was trounced by Broad Run (Ashburn, VA), 44-33, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the battle the Dominion Titans (Sterling, VA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 12. Independence will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Titans go into the contest with a 2-1 record after their 50-26 non-league win over Herndon (Herndon, VA).
