December 10, 2024: Lafayette, LA 70507 Cecilia Bulldogs (Cecilia, LA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the host Carencro Bears (Lafayette, LA), 5-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Cecilia moves its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Comeaux (Lafayette, LA) to clash with the Spartans in a non-league test on Wednesday, December 11. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 0-4. Comeaux lost 4-0 in their recent non-league test against Livonia (Livonia, LA)
The Bears now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Highland Baptist Christian for a non-league test on Monday, December 16. Carencro will clash with a Bears team coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Westgate (New Iberia, LA). The Bears record now stands at 5-0.
