South Carolina High School Basketball - Calhoun County nudges Allendale-Fairfax

Calhoun County Saints (St. Matthews, SC) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Allendale-Fairfax Tigers (Fairfax, SC), 59-53 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Calhoun County upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Saints host North (North, SC) to clash with the Eagles in a A Region 4 bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 6-1. North won 72-62 in their recent non-league bout against Branchville (Branchville, SC)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Ridgeland-Hardeeville Jaguars (Ridgeland, SC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 15. Allendale-Fairfax will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Jaguars go into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 63-42 non-league loss to May River (Bluffton, SC).
