December 11, 2023: Sumter, SC 29153 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Manning Monarchs (Manning, SC) and the host Crestwood Knights (Sumter, SC), saw Manning's basketball squad overcome Crestwood by a tally of 45-35.
With the victory, Manning improves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Monarchs travel to East Clarendon (Turbeville, SC) to confront the Wolverines in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 13. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a record of 3-5. East Clarendon lost 36-27 in their recent non-league challenge against Green Sea Floyds (Green Sea, SC)
Next up, the Knights confront the Sumter Gamecocks (Sumter, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 14. Crestwood will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Gamecocks come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 39-19 non-league win over Lugoff-Elgin (Lugoff, SC).
