Virginia High School Basketball - Blue Ridge triumphant over Hargrave Military Academy

The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Blue Ridge Barons (St. George, VA) and the visiting Hargrave Military Academy Tigers (Chatham, VA), observed Blue Ridge's basketball team overwhelm Hargrave Military Academy by a score of 66-41.

The Barons (7-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Archbishop Carroll (Washington, DC). The Lions come into the non-league challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Archbishop Carroll was routed by DeMatha (Hyattsville, MD), 75-60, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Tigers encounter the Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks (Charlottesville, VA) in a Virginia Independent challenge, on Saturday, December 14. Hargrave Military Academy will attempt to improve on its 9-6 season record. The Mavericks come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 87-34 non-league win over Eastern Mennonite (Harrisonburg, VA).
