In Wednesday's non-league test, the North Mecklenburg Vikings (Huntersville, NC) basketball squad got by the host Rocky River Ravens (Mint Hill, NC), by a score of 49-46.

Next, the Vikings encounter the Newton Rams (Covington, GA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, December 14. North Mecklenburg will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Rams come into the test with a 7-3 record after their 74-50 league win over Heritage (Conyers, GA).
