The Huntingtown Hurricanes defeated the host Northern Patriots basketball squad by a final score of 40-29 in Wednesday's non-league outing.

Next, the Hurricanes clash with the Calvert Cavaliers (Prince Frederick, MD) in a non-league outing, on Friday, December 13. Huntingtown will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record. The Cavaliers come into the outing with a 1-1 record after their 46-28 league win over Patuxent (Lusby, MD).

The Patriots (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against Winters Mill (Westminster, MD). The Falcons come into the non-league outing with a 2-1 record. In their last outing, Winters Mill was defeated by Manchester Valley (Manchester, MD), 47-20, in a league outing.
